The Galaxy is Infested
In a far distant future the expanse of Humanity across the known universe is threatened by a space faring species of insects. Incredible as it might seem, they are hostile. Everybody refers to them as “The Bugs”.
You Are Available For Hire
You are a far future private contractor (a mercenary soldier) fighting on behalf of humanity and a healthy bank account. If someone cries out for help beyond the reach of the Navy and their credit is good, then you’re just the person to lend a hand.
Drop, Fight, Profit
Choose a Mission, select an EXO combat rig, arm it, and then drop into combat. Achieve your mission or die trying. To be more specific, lose a “meat sack” trying. Being a consciousness uploaded into a vat grown Human form makes dying a lot more tolerable.
